After
somewhere for a memorable rally?
Meon View really is a terrific location for a rally. Our close-mown
field, sheltered by trees and hedges and with no farm animals, is
easy to reach, surrounded by places to see and things to do and
has some fantastic pubs and restaurants nearby.
Our location on the edge of the Cotswold Hills and just 6 miles
from the centre of Stratford is ideal for keeping your rally occupied,
whatever tastes you need to satisfy. We have gathered some ideas
about what there is to do in the area on our Stratford
and Cotswolds pages.
Easy Access to Meon View?
Whether from the North or South the main routes to our rally field
are via main roads (apart from a short trip of about 200m) and you
need not travel through any major built up areas.
We are about 30-40 mins from both the M40 and M5.
Local villages are well signposted and there are plenty of places
to place your rally signs to direct visitors the last little bit
of the way.
Access to the field is by a part-tarmaced/part-hardcore roadway
and the field is well drained, flat and closely mown and Meon Hill
provides a beautiful backdrop and is separate from the CL.
Full directions are available on our contacts page.
Facilities
Our field can accommodate approximately 30 caravans so we welcome
rallies of any size below this figure.
We offer basic facilities of mains water, emptying point and refuse
collection.
A free electric hook up is available for the rally Marshall (10 units or over).
Food and Drink
You are welcome to barbecue on site, or if you prefer there are
plenty of pubs, hotels and restaurants that can cater for large
groups within a short distance. The local villages all have a shop
and off-licence and there are two butchers and several grocers/farm
shops within a couple of miles. A skittle is available at the Butchers Arms in Mickleton and there is also a modern village hall at Lower Quinton. Stratford has several superstores (Tesco, Morrisons, Aldi, Waitrose).
Rates
Currently £6.00 per unit per night.
